The international Kautz Conference on Business and Economics was successfully held in Győr, Hungary, at Széchenyi István University from 10th to 12th October 2024, bringing together researchers from twenty-one countries from four continents to present their work on global challenges and to build scientific networks.

The event also included two sessions on marketing, one on 10.10.2024 on "Marketing and Social Media", chaired by Veronika Keller (Szechenyi István University) and Soňa CHOVANOVÁ SUPEKOVÁ (Pan European University). The session included 8 presentations on different topics mainly related to consumer behaviour. They covered the usability of lifestyle apps, branding strategies for agricultural products, consumer motivations, the role of AI in market research, and international consumers and trade.

The second session took place a day later, on Friday morning, on "Creativity and Social Media", chaired by Szandra Gombos (Széchenyi István University), Éva Gajzágó (Budapest Business University) and Petra Platz (Széchenyi István University). The session included 9 presentations on sustainability, urban marketing and artificial intelligence.

The best presentation award was given to Györgyi Danó for her presentation on "Challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence in market research: virtual interviewers" and to László Buics for his presentation on "Exploring the Role of On-Demand transportation in Promoting Sustainable Urban Mobility: a Systematic Literature Review and Survey analysis".  Congratulations to the Assistant Professor of the Department of Management and Business Economics (BME) and Associate Professor of the Department of Corporate Leadership and Marketing (SZE).
